Overview

Our villa overlooks the city of Nelson, the Maitai valley and the Centre of New Zealand, yet is close to many lovely scenic walks along the river and in the bush. We have a large garden and offer our guests organic and healthy food. We are a good base for visits to the Abel Tasman National Park, Golden Bay and the Nelson Lakes.
We have excellent facilities for children and families and the swimming pool is welcome fun in the summer. We are part of the 'creative tourism' group and provide tailored adventures for our guests; World of Wearable Art, History, Art, Woodworking, Kayaking and Tramping adventures planned specifically for each client.

Location & area

The property is a large elevated city garden with outstanding views of the Maitai Valley and surrounds. It has terraced gardens, growing organic vegetables, fruit trees and roses. Native trees on the property attract much bird life and although close to town it is very quiet.
