Overview

Orchard View provides the perfect base for your holiday at the top of New Zealand's South Island. Just 15 minutes to the sandy beaches of Kaiteriteri and Marahau with the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park on your doorstep. Situated on 20 acres of private land including kiwifruit orchard, pasture, riverside and native bush a perfect place for the children, safe and well away from the road.
At Orchard View we have small farm animals plus dogs, cats, horses and free range hens, ducks, turkeys and peacocks. Children (and adults) are welcome to help at feeding time. A two minute stroll from the cottage will bring you to the riverside where you can try your hand at fly fishing or feed the ducks.

Orchard View Is equidistant from the sandy beaches of Kaiteriteri and Marahau, the popular Abel Tasman National Park and the township of Motueka -all around 15 minutes away by car. In Motueka you can stock up at the supermarket, visit the bars and restaurants or browse around the various shops.
Just 2.5kms (tar sealed) from the main state highway 60 between Motueka and Takaka.

Orchard View sleeps four people in comfort in two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two single bunk beds. A double sofa bed provides an alternative to the bunk beds and a port a cot is available on request. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster etc and there is a CD player, telephone and satellite TV in the living/dining area.
The large sunny deck provides wonderful views of the valley and is furnished with table, chairs and gas BBQ for outdoor living. There is always something to catch your attention here, whether it be the friendly fantails, a playful rabbit a peacock or 'chook'.
