Each of our three bedrooms, located upstairs, are unique and designed to make the whole experience more like staying in a friends country house, rather than in a hotel or pub. All are light and airy, with views over the garden foliage or across our paddocks to the mountains.
High quality complimentary toiletries are provided, as well as thoughtfully stocked hospitality trays and guest fridge on same level. Relax upstairs in Guests' sitting area, or you might just settle in front of the log fire and play cards. And if you have forgotten to bring something you need, just ask

The warm natural colors set the tone for the Tree Fern Room, This room features a king size bed and two king singles and has enough space for two couples traveling together, a family or just the two of you
Pamper yourself in the spacious Blue Room. (In name only) This room is beautifully decorated in soft pinks, providing perfect serenity for that restful night's sleep. The room includes views from all three walls and is welcomed by the morning sun rise.
A relaxing escape in the Green room. Enjoy viewing a lovely sunset from its own private balcony looking out over to the alps or into the gardens.

Location & area
Approx 15minutes south of Greymouth. Follow State Highway 6 south towards Hokitika and Haast. Watch for the Shantytown turnoff at Paroa. Take this left turn. This road is Rutherglen Road. We are 8kms up this road (about 4 to 5 minutes past Shantytown). Watch for a sharp S-bend (45kph) come down the steep little hill and our driveway is the second entrance on the left past the bottom of the hill. There is a blue and white B&B sign pointing up our driveway.
You won't see Chapel Hill from the road - it is up the driveway set in gardens and forests.
If comming from the South look for the Shantytown sign and Paroa sign, Turn right on to Rutherglen road.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
