Overview

Ginkaku-an is not a hotel, but rather a full-equipped rental house requiring a contract: period of more than 1 week (6 night and 7 days). Even for people wanting to enjoy Kyoto as a whole, Shiga Prefecture, Osaka, or Kobe, you can find a place to write haiku, paint, and engage in other creative activities, refresh yourselves, or even to commute back and forth to Kyoto University Hospitals. All of these people will find a place to stay at Ginkaku-An. For anyone interested in staying at Ginkaku-An, we hope that we are here for you to feel that "this is the place that I can relax" or, "this is my place in Kyoto". If we have accomplished this, then we will be most satisfied. Please contact me by email because I'm not good at listening and speaking English.
