Overview

The Estate is a charming Bed and Breakfast located in the green and exclusive Sultanpur Estate; a discreet address situated in Mehrauli (South Delhi). A vantage location: just 12 kilometers away from the international and domestic airports. Perfectly suited for the tourists aiming to cover the Golden Triangle. It is also close to the historic and magnificent Qutab Minar and the beautiful Hindu temples complex at Chattarpur. The new commercial and shopping township - Gurgaon, is a short 20 minutes drive away and a closeby Metro (Subway) station will be functional very soon.




The Estate offers a unique opportunity to experience the gracious hospitality of an Indian home and retreat into its quiet luxury in the bustling metropolis of Delhi. The Estate is the residence you would love to have in New Delhi: calm, with tastefully done interiors and a warm and welcoming ambience that gives you an immediate sense of homecoming.



The rooms are named after the trees and flowers found within the premises. Kachnar next to the lounge and dining area on the ground floor has a king-size bed. Nargis on the first floor too has a king-size bed. Within the Guldavari Suite on the first floor, are Champa and Chameli. Champa has twin beds and Chameli has a king-size double bed. On the second floor, adjoining the terrace garden is Raat-Ki-Raani with twin beds.



A home is only complete with home-made food.The breakfasts are wholesome: choice of cereals, fresh juice, fresh fruits, a variety of breads with conserves, a selection of cold-cuts, cheeses and eggs of choice. On requests and on weekends Indian preparations are served as well. Lunches and Dinners are home-style Indian cuisine. Orders for these should be placed in advance.



Your hosts are Mamta Sharma and her family: Mamta is a graduate from a Hospitality Management College. Their knowledge of the history and culture of the ancient city of Delhi (and of India) will prove useful for any visitor. You will be personally helped and guided into making the most of your trip with an insider's insight and understanding of their many fascinating facets.



We are a multi-cultural family and celebrate all major North-Indian Festivals in a traditional way. We would love to have you join us in the festivities if you so desire. Your stay here would give you a rare opportunity to experience the Indian way of life in a laidback and relaxed manner.



At the Estate all guests are welcomed as our friends and everything is based on trust which is why we prefer not to keep tabs on you. Instead, we provide you with the Honesty Box. The box will be placed at various points of usage and consumption. Please help yourselves and put the due cash into the Honesty Box.
