Overview
Grand View estate cum holiday home is situated in South Central Coorg(Kodagu) as it is also known.The estate bunglow is set amidst coffee and pepper plantations.It has three rather large bedrooms all with attached toilets and runnning hot and cold water with geyesers attached.It also has a central hall with a TV .There is also a dining room and a large kitchen which allows guests to prepare food by themselves or have food prepared for them by the estate cook.Meals are charged as per actuals on ingriedents purchased thru the estate caretaker. A family or group has the option of buying and preparing the meals themselves also.
Elctricity is not a problem as the bunglow has a main line and a backup generator (in case of power failure) and an UPS system .All gadgets can be operated here. Foreigners must remember though that electricity operates in India at 230 Volts and 60Hz.
Charges per night are as follows:
Rs1500 per couple ,Rs 1750 for group of four to six people,
Rs 2000 for six to eight people in a group and Rs 2500 for a group of a mximum of above six and below ten people per night.
