Overview

Te Nunoa is a beautifully appointed guesthouse surrounded by a privately enclosed garden that encompasses a spacious 8600sq.ft. (800 sq meters). Created with the discriminating traveler in mind, Te Nunoa is just across the street from an exquisite white sand beach and is the only guesthouse in Moorea to provide first class service and design with the opportunity to experience a more authentic life outside of the hotels. Amenities include a fully-equipped kitchen, private outdoor dining area, lounge chairs, BBQ, wireless internet access, an iPod base, bikes and daily maid service.



Te Nunoa is designed to accommodate 3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults and 2 children. There is one king-size bed, one twin-size day bed and a twin-size trundle. You will also find a fully-equipped kitchenette and a comfortable bath.

Location & area

Te Nunoa is Tahitian for red sky. Located in Haapiti, on the west side of Moorea, we like to refer to this as the sunset side of the island, where you too may witness the spectacular red sky firsthand.



As you enter the main property, you will be surrounded by towering coconut palms. Te Nunoa is just across the street (1-minute walk) from a secluded, white sand beach with private access where you will often find stingrays swimming about trying to collect scraps left by the local fishermen. The strip of beach on this part of Moorea is considered by many to be the best on the island. It is a 5-minute walk from the local market and a 10-15 minute bike ride from Le Petite Village (the primary commerce center on the west side of the island).



Conveniently located to the main island of Tahiti, Moorea is just 7 minutes by plane or 30 minutes by catamaran ferry. This close proximity allows you to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Moorea, while still having time to enjoy day-trips to the capital island.



Moorea is the tropical South Seas paradise you have always dreamed of. From the lagoon to the mountains, you will not be at a loss of things to do in Moorea. Snorkeling and scuba diving, jet-skiing, kayaking, parasailing and deep-sea fishing. hiking, biking and 4-wheel drive safari tours are just a sampling of things you can do once you step outside your bungalow!
