The Stables Cottage is a luxury, self contained, private cottage with either one or two bedrooms. It has a log fire, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, cosy lounge/dining area and beautifully appointed bathroom with double spa, separate shower and vanity. External deck and BBQ area; DVD, CD & large screen television. Suitable for the extended stay or a short break.

Established in 1894 and less than an hour from Melbourne, Sassafras' famous bed and breakfast hospitality and abundant nurseries is only rivalled by the popularity of its Devonshire Tearooms. One local shop in Sassafras actually stocks more than 300 varieties of tea, the largest range in and around Melbourne.



Olinda is the highest of the Dandenong Ranges' villages. Clustered along the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, this hilltop village is occasionally shrounded in mist, and occasionally snow, that gathers at the top of the mountain. When the sun is out, as it often is, the views are breathtaking. Its specialty shops and galleries have a sense of character that is unmistakably 'the Dandenongs'.
