Overview
Perfect hideaway lodging for birdwatchers, honeymooners near Daintree National Park.
Each of our three self-contained B&B bungalows is privately situated with a pleasant view over the dam and it's wonderful birdlife. There are no TVs, phones or radios and children under 12 are not catered for - your peace and privacy is assured.
The bungalows have a queen-size bed, microwave, cooktop, fridge, also air-conditioner and ceiling fan. We provide a daily breakfast basket of home-grown tropical fruits, juice, cereals, home-made marmalade and locally-grown coffee and tea. There is a barbeque area and jacuzzi.
We offer our guests a secluded tropical retreat, but we are still close to all the visitor attractions of this most beautiful part of tropical north Queensland. For instance the following may give you some idea of our location:-
Daintree Village - 10 minute drive to Daintree River crocodile- or bird-spotting river cruises; coffee shop, restaurants and artists' galleries
Cape Tribulation - under one hour. A spectacular drive through the rainforest; walks; lovely beaches; environmental centre and artist's studios
Daintree to Mossman - pristine beaches, horseriding along the sands, tropical fruit farm, golf-course, Diane Cilento's world-famous Karnak Playhouse
Mossman - 30 minutes to a spectacular river with swimming holes, self-guided walks or interpretive walks with an Aboriginal guide through Daintree National Park and sugar mill tours during the June-to-November cane-crushing season
Port Douglas - 45 minutes to this famous resort town with it's many shops and restaurants; day cruises to the Great Barrier Reef and the award-winning Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary
Atherton Tablelands - one-and-a-half hours (lakes and waterfalls, farming country; wetlands reserve; coffee plantations)
Or you may just prefer to relax and enjoy our peace and quiet!

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
