Welcome to the Amber Gardens guesthouse, providing Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the beautiful town of Byron Bay located in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales.
We have created our guesthouse to complement and enhance your visit to this beautiful region. From the landscaped tropical gardens with new fresh water swimming pool and deck to our luxurious bedrooms decorated in a contemporary style, dressed with Egyptian Cotton, please be sure that everything has been done to make your stay with us as pleasureable as possible.
We are ideally located in Ewingsdale, with easy access to the town, beach and make a great base for exploring the rainforest hinterland surrounding Byron bay. Although with fantastic accommodation like this, you may not want to go anywhere!

From the Pacific Highway follow signs to Byron Bay.
After the roundabout take the second road on the right, signposted McGettigans Lane and Fig Tree Cafe.
Take the first road on the right onto Parkway Drive.
Take the second road on the right onto Plantation Drive.
We are the second to last house on the right hand side, please look out for our sign.

We have spared no expense to make our guesthouse a tropical home from home for you. A place where you can relax, meet new friends or simply laze by the pool enjoying a cocktail!
Our newly built pool, completed in July 2005, set in our tropical landscaped gardens utilises the latest technology available. The pool is crystal fresh water maintained to the highest hygiene standards using a low chemical ozone system. This means that you can spend all day in the water yet have none of the unpleasant smells associated with older chemically treated pools.
After your days exploring or relaxing around the guesthouse our guests often like to gather on the pool deck for evening drinks with there fellow guests. A couple of cold ones in this tranquil and relaxing setting is a great start to the evening before going on to enjoy some of Byron's many award winning restaurants, bars and clubs.
For guests with wifi laptops we have installed a wireless router and you may surf the internet from the comfort of your room or even poolside!

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
