Overview

Temple House is a luxury private villa situated on Ko Lanta island off the west coast of southern Thailand, near Krabi.

Ko Lanta is a beautiful tropical island located only a couple of hours away from the international airport of Krabi and only 30 minutes from Phuket by seaplane.

The villa is 5 minutes walk from Ao Kantiang beach in a secluded hillside location, with panoramic views of the ocean, coastal beaches and rainforest.

Temple House currently sleeps a maximum of 6 people and has the following facilities:

2 further double bedrooms with private balconies

open plan living room and kitchen with sunset and sea views

garage with ample parking space
Temple House is a 3 level property, of which only 2 floors are currently furnished. As of February 2008 Temple House will sleep a maximum of 12 people and have the following extra facilities:

From Phuket:



By Sea Plane – Destination Air run daily flights from Phuket Airport direct to the local beach on Ko Lanta. These take approx 30 mins



From Krabi



By ferry - you can take a passenger ferry from Krabi to Ko Lanta, these depart twice daily from Krabi port, a short taxi ride from the airport, and take approximately 1.5 hours. The ferries only run in high season October – May weather depending. We recommend you check the ferry timetable at for the latest schedules



By car - If you are hiring a car you can drive from Krabi to Ko Lanta in approx 2 hours. The drive is an easy fast road through scenic Krabi, to the port where you will need to cross two car ferries to get to Ko Lanta Yai. The drive to the ferry is approx 45 minutes to 1 hour and the ferry crossing takes approx 45 minutes.



By taxi transfer – You can hire a taxi to take you all the way from the airport to Ko Lanta island. These can be ordered at the desk in arrivals and cost approx 2,300 baht for a one-way trip. Taxi’s will take approx 2 hours to reach Ko Lanta
