Location & area

Many Longstayers are coming to Hua Hin during the European winter time to enjoy themselves in the tropical climate. The climate in Hua Hin is very nice throughout the whole year, December to February is a bit cooler, the hottest months are April and May. Rainy season is June to October, but even during this time it’s pleasant and seldom raining, just a short thunderstorm and wonderful clouds.



Kite-Flying, Bananaboats, Horse Riding are the activities on the Beach

Amenities & services

Easy Sightseeing to small mountains or old castles: Hin Lek Fei is a great vantage point overlooking Hua Hin Panorama. Sam Roi Yot National Park (300 Peaks) with it’s open cave and small Sala is a great outing, same as Kaeng Krachang National Park with it’s beautiful nature or Pala-U Waterfall at the border to Myanmar with it’s millions of butterflies. The nicest beach in Thailand is to be found in Prachuab Khirikhan itself, it’s called Ao Manao (Lemon shaped Beach), 90 km to the south of Hua Hin. Divers are heading for Ka Tao (Nang Yuan); or for an adventure trip suitable is Kanchanaburi and a longtail boat trip to the River Kwai Jungle Raft where one can lodge on a house boat type accommodation. The Floating Market in Damnong Saduak or the old summer residences of former kings in Cha-Am or Petchaburi are other favourable trips.

Hua Hin is an ideal place to choose for Golfers. In the vicinity are six to eight Golf Courses from the old and noble Royal Golf Course in the center of Hua Hin (founded approx. 1920) to the newest Banyan and Black Mountain Golf Courses, to the ordinary military Golf Courses for a cheaper adventure.
