Overview

Have your own slice of paradise at this spacious and exotic villa. Set in a lush tropical garden overlooking the Indian Ocean and Mnemba Island. Enjoy the natural splendor of the private beach and the exhilarating architectural interior of the villa.

BedroomsThe 4 bedroom villa consists of a master bedroom with private bathroom, all tiled, glass enclosed shower. The master bedroom has a king-size Swahili bed, French doors opening to a veranda overlooking the ocean. The 3 guest rooms (standard-size bedrooms) each have a queen-size Swahili bed and a beautiful garden view of frangipani flowers, papaya and coconut trees. Two of the guest rooms have a private sitting room and a shared bathroom consisting of modern tiled glass enclosed shower.

Main living area
The living room is a fantasy in motion, great expanse looking up into the magnificent makuti roof. The artistry of the sofa and lounge chairs made by a famous artist/carpenter is one of a kind; French doors/windows overlooking the garden and the ocean. The living room flows into the dinning room, the bar, and the kitchen, all in one open space separated by exotic Arabian arches. Lovely water fountain in the hall.
The kitchen is modern with beautiful tiled counters, refrigerator and stove. The spacious dinning room is all windows, overlooking lush bougainvillea and the ocean.
All rooms have ceiling fans and natural air conditioner (ocean/land breezes flow through mosquito screened lattice openings above all windows).

Beautiful outdoor shower for a quick rinse after a swim.
Lounging beds on the front veranda, in the garden & on the beach placed under thatched umbrellas for relaxing under the shade.

Location & area

OceanView Villa is located on the North East coast of Zanzibar, near the village of Pawani Mchangani. This part of the coast is famous for its expansive beaches and powdery sands and is relatively less populated and undeveloped than the Southern part of the East Coast. The coast before the village is sprinkled with luxurious hotels: Mapenzi Hotel, Ocean Paradise, Neptune, etc., where you can find entertainment from disco dancing to Masai show performances; restaurants and bars.
