Wolcome to Dhow Inn. We are located on the beach, just north of Paje Village, on the east coast of Zanzibar. A hotel with only 6 rooms: a quiet atmosphere with quality service. Paradise? Yep... What makes us different? We do Quality, instead of Quantity. And you can feel it... Our aim is to cater to the modern traveler, from flashpacker to food critic to businessman in need of free a broadband connection (and everyone else who simply enjoys quality). Since our opening we have already been tipped as 'one of the funkiest places on the island'. You'll be surprised! All the pictures are taken of the actual beach, and are not enhanced in any way. What makes us unique on Zanzibar? Well, our philosophy is a never-seen combination: - Small privately owned hotel with a funky atmosphere & a high quality level; - Loungy design, all in local style, but with a European feel; - Different relaxing area's, low noise policy, great pool; - 2 star prices, also for food and drinks, 5 star services; - Small, well equipped rooms, big beds; - Socially very active, initiating various local NGO's; - Free WiFi for all guests; - highly qualified local staff, meticulously selected and trained; - No small children; Our setup is based on our personal philosophy... What do you do in your room? Wash, sleep, read a book and well, yeah, that too :-) So the rooms are small, and the beds huge, there's warm water, of course, WiFi internet, cosy bedside lamps and tasteful art on the walls. Simple, you'll say. We say: you're right. Simply delightful.
