Overview

From December till April you can only reach this property driving a 4x4 vehicle.
It is not only for people who love to fish, there are a also a lot of options in and around this farm (hiking, horseback-riding, quad, 4x4, mountain biking, river rafting).
This fully equipped house is the only house we rent out for holidays on this 400 ha (4 square km) farm.

This accommodation is for guests who enjoy their privacy and the rich nature of the FreeState with rolling hills, wooded areas.



For the most part the Free State countryside is flattish, windswept, visually monotonous, but towards the east the land rises in a series of dramatically weathered sandstone hills, their colours ranging from reddish through deep orange to golden brown to create strikingly eye-catching landscapes. A 1,5 hour drive from this accommodation will bring you to the Golden Gate National Park, a 12000 hectare expanse of ridges and ramparts lying in the valley of the Little Caledon River.
Visitors are drawn to the park mainly for its scenic splendor, though it also has its wildlife, including wildebeest and zebra, grey reebok, mountain reedbuck, statly eland and shy oribi.
