Awarded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa as an excellent 3-star self-catering facility with optional breakfast and dinner, Cosy Cottage B&B guarantees you a wonderful African experience with accommodation in unique cottages decorated in a rich blend of classical Western and traditional African style. Come and enjoy the luxury of being part of nature.

All our cottages have private entrances and secure undercover parking. The comfort of our guests is ensured with an en-suit bathroom/toilet, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast nook and lounge with TV and satellite TV. Each cottage has its own veranda with direct access to the garden and sparkling swimming pool.

COSY COTTAGE B&B is also a Birder Friendly Establishment officially recognised by BirdLife South Africa. With the most important birding spots in the area, like the world-renowned OPM Prozesky Bird Sanctuary literally on our doorstep, Cosy Cottage B&B organises customised birding trips on a daily basis.

Potchefstroom offers, apart from birding, several other nature experiences. The Highveld National Park, as well as Buffelsvlei Wild Animal Park, is about 12 km from Cosy Cottage B&B.

Potchefstroom is in the south-eastern corner of the Southern Region of the North West Province - about 120 km from Johannesburg, which makes it an ideal destination for the short-time visitor to South Africa. It lies in an area where several major habitat regions overlap. This leads to quite a variety of birds occurring here. Nature has blessed this province with breathtaking scenic beauty, infinitive tapestries of green maize and golden sunflower fields, vast plains of African bushveld, dotted with umbrella thorn trees, and wide open grassveld interspersed with mixed acacia and other bush - a birder's paradise...!!
