Overview

Marren House , your second home, offers you elegant Guesthouse comforts to enjoy when you visit the Friendly City of Port Elizabeth for business or pleasure. Our luxury 4 star graded, AA highly recommend rated en-suite units offer you a tranquil, comfortable and relaxed stay in 5 double air-conditioned or twin rooms and 2 fully equipped self catering units with en-suite bathrooms. All our rooms have high quality extra length beds and percale linen and include wireless ADSL internet connection.
Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation establishment is approximately 1.5km from the Algoa Bay beachfront amenities. These include the Boardwalk Casino Entertainment Centre, restaurants, cinema and shopping centres. We are also close to the Humewood Links Golf Course, University, Bowling Club, Oceanarium and just 7 minutes away from the Port Elizabeth airport.
Full English and Continental breakfast is served in our breakfast room overlooking the pool area.

Location & area

From PE Airport:

After exiting the Airport grounds, turn right at the circle into Allister Miller Drive.

Continue down that road until you get to a traffic light, turn right at the traffic light into La Roche Drive.

At the second set of lights, turn right into Strandfontein Road. Follow that road until you get to a circle with Mercado Shopping Centre on your left.

Turn left at the cirle, first turn left into Kock Street and right at the T-junction into Louis Botha Crescent.

Go past the Church and we are on the right hand side just before the Dolfyntjie Creche.



From Cape Town - From the N2 take the Cape Road turn off and continue until Cape Road becomes Russell Road. Continue down Russell Road until you see the Summerstrand turnoff.
Take the Summerstrand turnoff onto the freeway. You are now on the M4.

Travel down the M4 until the freeway becomes Humewood Road.

Take the right hand fork (M13) into Driftsands Drive towards Summerstrand.
Driftsands Drive becomes Strandfontein Road.
Follow that road until you get to a circle with Mercado Shopping Centre on your left.
Turn left at the cirle, first turn left into Kock Street and right at the T-junction into Louis Botha.
