Overview

Horizons Holiday Cottages offers an affordable self catering holiday Cottage in rural Noordhoek, near all the attractions of Cape Town and the Cape peninsula.
sleeps 4 in 3 bedrooms; a double bedroom; another with 3/4 bed and a single. This cottage is furnished in bright, colourful Colonial African style with antiques and original artworks.
Our Cottages are uncompromisingly spacious for the relaxation of our guests. Lounge/diner has TV and dining table for 4. Open plan kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, stove, microwave. Bathroom has a small bath with shower overhead. Door opens from the lounge to a covered veranda opening into private garden with barbeque (braai) facilities.
Horizon Holiday Cottages is situated next to the Table Mountain National Park where hikes and walks can be enjoyed in safety. Famous attractions such as the historic village of Simonstown with its famed penguin colony and Cape Point are a short drive away.

Location & area

From Cape Town airport take the N 2 Highway to Cape Town, and then take the M3 Muizenberg exit at the foot of the mountain.

From Cape Town city centre, take Eastern Boulevard and join Rhodes drive as you pass Groote Schuur hospital.
Travel until the end of this highway- Rhodes Drive- past UCT and famous Bishop's Court. Here it becomes a suburban road for just a short distance. (Edinburgh Drive). Continue on this road without taking any exit and then it become a highway again, (Blue Route Highway) continue across the Constantia valley until you reach a T-junction at the foot of the mountain and turn right towards Fish Hoek and Simonstown.

Take the first fork left Ou Kaapse Weg signposted for Fish Hoek and Simonstown and enjoy a wonderful scenic drive over the mountain, do not take the Silvermine Road exit to Noordhoek/Hout bay; carry on and then at the bottom of the mountain, turn right into Noordhoek Avenue M6 (clearly signposted) to Chapman's Peak drive where there is a big billboard welcoming you to Noordhoek and telling of all of the local attractions. Take the first road to the right into Sea Cottage Drive- we are the log cabin on your left at number 9.
