Overview

With its delightful thatch roof and tranquil garden setting Page Cottage is a unique location for a relaxing holiday. The cottage is situated in an elevated setting in a quiet residential area with views towards the lagoon and Heads. Guests have exclusive use of the facilities and the option of staying either self-catering or bed and breakfast, either way you will be assured of excellent hospitality.



Knysna town centre, with its array of tourist attractions, restaurants and night life is a five minute drive away. We can accommodate couples, groups of friends and families looking to enjoy their annual holidays, weekend breaks or even just an overnight stay.



This double story wooden cottage has two bedrooms, one double and one twin. The beds are very comfortable and fitted with quality bedroom linen.



The bathroom is equipped with bath, shower and toilet plus a separate toilet. Bathroom towels are provided as well as complimentary soaps and shampoos.



The living area comprises of a large open plan lounge with suite and double sleeper couch (creating extra sleeping space if necessary). Your very own dedicated DSTV is available so you can pick and choose what you want to watch and for winter nights a log fire with firewood is available to keep you warm and cozy.



The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances, pots and pans, glassware and cutlery. Complimentary hot and cold drinks will be waiting for you on arrival.



Surrounding the cottage is a superb entertainment deck over looking a breathtaking indigenous garden, with a fish pond, and a magical tree house, swing, slide and sand pit for the littlest of the family. The deck is floodlit, equipped with a superb built in braai (BBQ), tables, chairs and umbrellas.



The local bird life is drawn to this garden and many a sighting has been made whilst relaxing on the deck, including the elusive Knysna Lourie.



Your cottage will be serviced and ready for occupation by 2pm on the day of your arrival. You are welcome to arrive earlier and we will store your luggage for you whilst you explore Knysna.
For stays of more than 3 nights, your cottage will be fully serviced at your convenience. Where possible, we will clean fireplaces and braais on a daily basis.



Check out time is usually 10am unless agreed otherwise, we will be flexible where time allows.



We are happy to assist with local airport pickups, eco and adventure tour and restaurant bookings. We offer discounts to local tourist attractions such as Knysna Elephant Park and Monkeyland.

From the N2, Knsyna main road take George Rex Drive towards The Heads. Approx 1km along George Rex Drive turn left into Marlin Drive (the turning at Kevin Quinns Golf Shop / Driving Range). Follow Marlin Drive past Animal Welfare on your left. The road snakes round twice before you see a narrow turning for Katonkel Street on your left. Drive up the hill and look for the second property on your left hand side. Page Cottage is number 6a and 6b recognizable by its thatch roof.
