This charming property, built on the edge of one of the few natural freshwater lakes in the southern hemisphere, is a serene retreat set in the picturesque Goukamma Nature and Marine Reserve.

The serviced 1& 2 Bedroom Suites & 2 Bedroom Villas all have breathtaking views of the Groenvlei lake and landscaped garden from private patios and balconies. Although the suites have their own kitchenettes, there is a food and beverage operation, Bistro on the Lake. Fine dining is an essential aspect of the experience - we strive for excellence in all aspects. We offer cuisine, classically prepared with a unique touch by our passionate chef. While enjoying the view of Groenvlei, discreet service will ensure that the delicate balance of food, wine and good company remains the main event. Inspired by the beautiful natural surroundings, the chef has compiled an appetizing array of dishes - prepared from only the freshest local produce. Whether your choice is Breakfast, Something Light or A la Carte, you are assured of a culinary pleasure. A fine selection of local South African wines are available to complement your meal. The dining experience can be completed with an aromatic coffee, warming cognac or liqueur. The Mantis Group Spa & Gymnasium boast sauna and steam rooms, an indoor heated relaxation pool and a gym open to guests.
