Annamarie and David welcome you to The Potting Shed Guest House, a 1920's Cape Cottage style home combined with African theme. Enjoy their personal service in an informal, friendly atmosphere, in the quaint town of Hermanus only one hour away from Cape Town International airport.
We offer 2 double, 1 twin, and 2 family rooms - which sleep 4, all with tea and coffee making facilities, overhead fans, wall heaters, pool towels and en-suite shower room. The guest house is separate to the main house with off-street parking in a private courtyard. Situated just off the main road enjoy peace and quiet without lots of traffic noise.
Pool area has sun-loungers, table and chairs and BBQ/braai exclusive for guest use. The pool area is flood-lit at night and the mountains can be viewed from here.
We now offer 2 self catering apartments by the sea (3kms to town).
The Potting Shed Guest House caters for the needs of families by offering DSTV, video, play-station 1, piano, and family games in the lounge/bar room. Shops, restaurants and the sea can be walked to within minutes.
Ideal location for shark diving, whale trips, fishing, bird watching, beach lovers, wine tasting, mountain walks, and quad bike trails. Hermanus is said to be the"best land based whale watching in the world!"
The Potting Shed is one of the few guest houses that welcome children under the age of 12. We also supply a cot.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
