The Roundhouse is superbly situated in De Kelders facing and overlooking Gansbaai approximately 2km away from the quaint but occasional smelly harbour and town due to its active and prosperous fishing industry. Gansbaai still is an active fishing village and these waters are some of the best along the coastline for commercial fishing. Gansbaai harbour is full of life with its population of commercial fishing boats and hoards of visitors to the area fishing the rich waters.



De Kelders is just recently becoming known worldwide for its excellent land based Whale Watching. De Kelders boasts a large population of Whales along the coastline (during season) and unspoiled stunning views towards Cape Town. Hermanus is known worldwide for its beauty and its Whales but as many are realising, De Kelders is quite a unique natural gem.
