Location & area

By air to Cape Town.

On leaving the Airport make your way to the N1 via the R300. (turn left onto the N2 to get to the R300)

Proceed along the N1 until you get to Paarl.
Just as you enter Paarl you will see a sign “Main Road / Franschhoek”. Turn right under the bridge. About a kilometer further on is a sign “R45 Franschhoek”. Turn left onto the R45. It is now about 30 km to Franschhoek. The trip to Franschhoek should take about 1 hour.

Drive through the village, along the main road until you see the Post Office on your left hand. Turn left into Reservoir Road. On the third block along Reservoir Road, on your left hand is Franschhoek Group Accommodation. Drive into the gate and park. The front door is around the corner of the building, in Akademie Street.



By road from the North (Gauteng, Free state etc.)

On the N1, turn off at Worcester. Find the Villiersdorp Road (well signposted). Drive to, and through, Villiersdorp. 9 Kilometers past Villiersdorp you will find the bridge over the Theewaterskloof Dam. At the bridge turn right onto the Franschhoek road, over the Franschhoek Pass. At the foot of the pass, on your left hand is the Methodist Church, across from Erica Street. 200 meters further on is Unie Street, also on your right. Turn right into Unie Street. This will lead right to our doorstep at the T-junction.



By road from the East

On the N2, turn off at Grabouw, onto the Villiersdorp Road. Just before Villiersdorp is the bridge over the Theewaterskloof Dam. Turn left to Franschhoek and follow directions given above.
