Overview

We have 12 spacious and uniquely decorated bedrooms with en suite shower/or bath to choose from. All rooms have modern conveniences:

Quality restaurants are within walking distance and golf-courses, hiking-trails, shopping malls and more white beaches are easily accessible. Horse-riding, scuba-diving, picnic-baskets and sunset cruises can be arranged for on request.

Whale watching from our patio is possible between the months of August and November.

Location & area

Tucked between the Hottentots Holland Mountains Range and the False Bay coast lies this sunny holiday village with its 2 popular harbours renowned for a popular angling and boating resort. The letters ‘G.B.' written in stone on the hillside actually refer to General Botha, the name of the training college for merchant navy officers situated in the “old” harbour near Bikini Beach. The town is named after Colonel Gordon, commander of the Cape garrison in the late 18th century.



The high twisting coastal road leading from Gordon's Bay to Cape Hangklip is one of the most spectacular anywhere, and with its new coat of tarmac is an absolute pleasure to ride. Not only does this route offer wondrous vistas out to sea, across sweeping bays and vertically down into transparent sapphire shallows, but from July to November you will undoubtedly see the awe-inspiring sight of gigantic whales splashing around.



A pictureque coastal town & home to the SA Naval College, with its Mediteranean-style village is situated only 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport.



This serene resort is ideally situated for a relaxing seaside holiday within forty minutes' drive to the bright lights of Cape Town and thirty minutes' to the main airport.



The climate is typical of coastal resorts, with a winter rainfall and mild sea and air temperature throughout the year. The south easter or 'Cape Doctor' affords welcome relief from the heat in summer.
