Overview

This beach style self-catering house is situated in the small village of Scarborough, the safest suburb of Cape Town, on the Atlantic Sea Board, 35 minutes drive outside of Cape Town. Scarborough is a conservation village, (nature lovers will enjoy the wide variety of flora, fauna and wildlife),surrounded by mountains , sea and bordered by the Cape Point Nature Reserve to the South. Close by are some of the Capes most beautiful beaches. The village provides an excellent base to explore the natural beauty of the Cape Peninsula, Table Mountain, The Waterfront and Wineland . There are numerous good restaurants and golf courses close by, a comprehensive shopping complex with Cinemas at Long Beach Mall, 15 minutes drive away. Other activities available in the area are : surfing, kite-surfing,windsurfing, scuba-diving, golf, tennis, hiking, mountain biking, horse/camel riding, cycling,spearfishing fishing ,Musseling, crayfishing (permits required),shark diving and sailing .

The Southern Right Whales can be easily viewed throughout summer.
The house situated in the most sheltered, wind-free North sector of Scarborough.

The house:
This house is architect designed in an Australian style, its up in the mountain and its surrounded by pristine fynbos. The deco, is organic beach style with beautiful driftwood and mosaic finishes .The setting is very private with wind sheltered patio and magnificent never ending views.. At night, huge skies greet you, as in Scarborough there are no street lights.
With 1 very big en-suite bedroom,something special with reed ceilings and spectacular views over the beach and two other bedrooms (one with double bed, the other single bed with an optional extra bed) sharing a spacious bathroom. Extensive open plan dining and living area, with a large 12 seat dining room table. The house can comfortably accommodate 5 adults.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a Bosch gas hob and Eletric oven, dishwasher, microwave.
Other features include: TV, DVD, VCR, a built in fire place, out-door shower, outdoor rustic barbecue, hammocks, CD player, Broadband Internet, and a laundry room with washing machine and drying machine. Daily servicing can be arranged - just let us know your requirements in advance.
Brochures and maps for local attractions will also be available in the house.
No smoking indoors, please , no pets.
Minimum booking period is 2 days. Preference is given to long bookings (over 1 week), particularly in peak season.
Rates : R1000 to R1900 per day depending upon season, number of people and length of stay .
Payment by cash or bank deposit
To secure booking, 50% payment is required with remaining 50% to be paid one week before arrival.
