Overview

Flamingo House provides versatile accommodation and quite simply stunning views of Table Mountain. We back onto the Rietvlei Nature Reserve with direct access to the walks around the vlei.

The house has 5 bedrooms;
Room 1 (EGRET) - double bed, claw foot bath, hand basin, en-suite bathroom, balcony with sweeping views across the Nature Reserve and arguably the best view of Table Mountain in the World. A bold claim we know but you will not be disappointed - if you are we will give you a bottle of fine Cape wine to console you!
Room 2 (HERON) - Double bed
Room 3 (IBIS) - Double bed
Room 4 (PELICAN) - 2 x single beds
Room 5 (SPOONBILL) - 1 x single bunk beds (can be converted to 2 x single beds if required)
Plenty of BIC and hanging space in each room.
Each bedroom has its own lock & key
All linen and towels provided.

Bathrooms - The en-suite to the main bedroom can be accessed from the hallway to be shared, if required and has twin hand basins/shower enclosure/bath/WC
Second bathroom has shower/bath/hand basin/WC
Third guest toilet & HWB downstairs

Lounge - Window seating, large dining table & chairs, access to paved entertainment & braai area and large landscaped garden with stunning views of Table Mountain and the Rietvlei Nature Reserve.

Kitchen with all modern conveniences including dishwasher/combination microwave/oven/hob/water filtration system/prep bowl/coffee maker/toaster/rotisserie etc.

TV room - widescreen TV (inactive). Locals can bring along own Smart Card for full DSTV access. Alternatively, the account can be re-activated for full access to DSTV at a nominal additional fee.
There is a home theatre system/DVD with ample seating and direct access to the garden and braai area.

Scullery - with sinks, dishwasher,laundry chute from 1st floor, access to double garage with remote door.
Outside - Large mature gardens, rolling lawns, Lemon & Fig trees (please help yourself to the fruit). Braai area with traditional wood braai, water feature with Koi carp (child friendly)Teak furniture to seat 10 persons, parasole. Direct access onto the Nature Reserve.

The front entrance to the house is accessed across a bridge over a well stocked Koi pond.
Fully alarmed, safe deposit box, double garage and off street parking for further 3 cars
