Overview
Set high on Clovelly mountain with magnificent views across Fish Hoek valley, the Lodge borders a nature reserve and overlooks Clovelly golf course. The safe swimming beach of Fish Hoek is a mere 10 minute walk away and from July to December Clovelly beach is a popular Southern Right whale viewing point.
The beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms open onto private patios, have separate entrances and are equipped with satellite TV, safe, hairdryer, telephone and heating. All rooms have mini kitchens and there is an espresso coffee machine for guest usage.
The Lodge is centrally situated for visits to Cape Town city, Stellenbosch and Cape Point Nature Reserve.
After your long day sightseeing, relax around the solar heated pool or in the hot spa bath, both set in the landscaped gardens. Off-street parking. Laundry. Airport transfers and car rentals arranged. Entire lodge available as a self-catering villa.

BAY SUITE: consists of a lovely big bedroom with a queen size bed and a full en-suite bathroom with bath and shower a separate private lounge/dining area with a kitchenette. The lounge has sliding doors out onto a large lovely wooden deck with outdoor furniture.
POOL SUITE: consists of a lovely big bedroom with twin beds (which can be made up to a king-size bed on request) and an en-suite bathroom with shower a separate private lounge/dining area with a kitchenette. The lounge has sliding doors out onto a lovely balcony with outdoor furniture and a view over the pool and towards the golf club. This suite has a large bedroom which makes it is possible to add in another single bed if requested.
MAIN HOUSE - MIDDLE AREA OF THE HOUSE: (this has an inter leading door to the downstairs area)
Contents of middle floor: (Sleeps 4 - 6)
A big family room which is open-plan to the dining room and kitchen. This room has sliding doors onto the main front balcony that has a stunning view over the golf course, the Fish Hoek valley and distant Atlantic ocean. The family room also has a sliding door leading into a lovely "honest" pub/bar which also has a fridge and has sliding doors onto the back patio, which faces the mountain. The kitchen is fully fitted with a large fridge/freezer, stove, microwave and dishwasher.
A separate lounge with a Jetmaster fireplace, VCR and DVD player. This Lounge has a sliding door opening onto the main wooden deck on the one side and on the other side there is a small breakfast room leading from it.
2 large bedrooms:
1 luxurious bedroom with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with a double shower and spa-bath. This bedroom has a beautiful bay window in the front and also has sliding doors opening onto the main balcony.
1 double bedroom with two twin beds and private bathroom with a shower only. This room has sliding doors onto a small sunroom sitting area with tea/coffee facilities. The sunroom faces the mountain and has a double sleeper couch
ATTIC SEPARATE SELF-CONTAINED FLAT

Contents of Attic flat (this has a separate entrance from the mountain side deck):
Lounge/dining room and kitchenette combined with sliding doors onto deck facing the mountain with outdoor furniture and barbeque facility and lovely views of the mountain. Two en-suite bedrooms, one on either side of the lounge. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and lovely en-suite bathroom with shower and bath. The other bedroom has twin beds with an en-suite bathroom (shower only). Both bedrooms have windows facing the mountain. Both bedrooms are big enough to add in another single bed if required.
SEPARATE STUDIO FLAT:
Sleeps 2
A bedroom with twin beds (which can be made up into a king size bed on request) and comfortable chairs. The room has sliding doors onto a patio which is partly enclosed and has a roof over it with outdoor furniture and views across the garden and swimming pool and Fish Hoek Valley. En-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. Small kitchenette with fridge and microwave.
Separate self-contained cottage:consists of bedroom with a queen size bed and a full en-suite bathroom with bath and shower a separate private lounge/dining area with a kitchenette. The lounge has sliding doors out onto a large lovely wooden deck with outdoor furniture.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
