Overview

Life doesn't get better than this- only 20 minutes outside of Cape Town's Central Business District, right on the beach, overlooking Table Mountain and Robben Island- a spacious and sunny apartment fully secure and located conveniently above a quaint shopping and entertainment area. It is literally meters from the boardwalked beach that delivers you right onto sand and sea.

The apartment is double volume- with skylight windows that bring in optimal light- optimising the sense of spaciousness in the large open plan living room. Seaside Village is a new and modern development housing New York-style pads for those who appreciate elegant beachside accomodation.

Big Bay is in the area known as Blouberg and has a smaller beach that is a little more protected than Blouberg Strand, its neighbouring beach. In season, Southern Right Whales can be spotted in the Bay, while dolphins and seals are quite common sightings in this area. Even though Blouberg is literally only minutes away from the CBD, it forms the gateway to the West Coast- an area that shares a more relaxed tradition of fishing and enjoying life at a much slower pace. Not far from Blouberg is the West Coast National Park where indigenous fauna and flora may be enjoyed along with completely protected and unspoilt beach. Further up the coast there are numerous day trip opportunies- Darling is a small town with a few wine farms, quaint restaurants and what it has become famous for- it's Spring flower show. All along the coast, small restaurants that specialise in seafood can be found, the most famous being Die Strandloper where you can eat as much as you like in an outdoor area that sits right on the beach.
