La Desirade is a self-catering guesthouse situated on the south-eastern coast of the island of Mahe. It is made up of 3 waterfront, ocean-facing studio apartments, each capable of hosting 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. Each air-conditioned apartment has a fully-equipped kitchenette and bathroom with hot/cold shower. We offer a daily chambermaid service and laundry facilities. The rooms have direct telephone lines and television. Since La Desirade is self catering, we do not offer any meals. However, there are 2 restaurants within walking distance and 2 shops close by, where you can buy your groceries.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers.
