Constructed in 2007 the villa Tigamee Tumlilt is bright and modern whilst retaining traditional Moroccan style.The villa is set over 3 floors with a garden and sun terrace. There is plenty of outdoor space for relaxing with loungers, a hammock, outside dining area and 2 outside showers! Inside, the living area is open plan incorporating: a modern kitchen, bar, dining area (seating 10), study and lounge (with a open fire for winter nights).There are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 double/twin), all with en suite bathrooms. The decor is stylish and elegant using traditional workmanship.The villa is located in the centre of Mirleft, previously a quiet fishing village but now a thriving tourist destination. The coast is lined with idyllic sandy beaches and the villa is just a ten minute walk from the main beach. It is a popular destination for surfers and fishermen (a former world surf champion owns a villa here). Other activities available include: quad biking, mountain biking and donkey riding in the surrounding hillside.The village itself is very lively whilst retaining a laid back feel. You will find a friendly welcome especially if you mention where you are staying. There are plenty of restaurants offering Moroccan, French and Italian cuisine. There are also many shops selling local handicrafts.Mirleft is certainly becoming one of Morocco's hottest holiday spots. Easyjet magazine said in its January 2008 issue: 'Marrakech may be the pearl of the south, but Mirleft is definitely the diamond.'
