Flic en Flac provides all the requirements for a self catering holiday including supermarket, restaurants, snack bars, casino, taxi rank, post office, pharmacy, bank and police station. Scuba diving and water sports are available at several neighbouring hotels. Many activities can be arranged by local operators, including trips to see the dolphins in neighbouring Tamarin Bay, the Seven Coloured Earths at Chamarel, Casela Park Zoo and the unforgettable Ile aux Cerfs on the East Coast. Excursions are also available by coach / boat via tourist agencies in Flic en Flac. Flic en Flac is listed as one of the world's top 10 beaches. A gentle 5 minute stroll from the property brings one to a long stretch of fine white sand backed by shady filao trees and benefitting from thatched umbrellas along the public beach. The beach is ideal for children (under careful adult supervision)as it slopes gently into the warm Indian Ocean, protected by the coral reef. A short swim with snorkel and fins reveals masses of brightly coloured corals and exotic fishes in the bay. The size of the beach ensures that it is never over-crowded.
